VENICE, CA – Porn Valley Observed has named Kagney Linn Karter the Best Newcomer of 2009.
Run by Gram Ponante, former editor-in-chief of AVN and a columnist for XBIZ, he bills himself as America’s Beloved Porn Journalist. The headline on his story announcing Kagney’s win said states “Best of 2009: Kagney Linn Karter is Best Newcomer by any means necessary.” He spent two hours in her home interviewing the bombshell and wrote an insightful article to go with the announcement.
“When Gram came over for the interview, I had no idea that he was going to bestow this honor on me,” she said. “I love Gram and he has been there for me from the beginning. I’m incredibly flattered to be named his Best Newcomer.”
In the Porn Valley Observed article Kagney mentions that she has become friends with Holly Randall and Kagney appears on the cover of Holly’s new book, Erotic Dream Girls (Goliath).
“I just saw the book for the first time and it’s beautiful,” Kagney says. “Who would have guessed I would ever be on the cover of a book?! It’s amazing. I’m glad it came out before Christmas, because several of my friends found copies under their trees.”
Last week Kagney was named Adult Web Movie Database’s (AWMDB) Best New Performer award. She is also up for New Starlet of the Year at the XBIZ Awards and Best New Starlet and several other awards at the AVN Awards. She is also in the running for Best Female and Best Newbie at RogReviews.com’s Fan Faves competition and for the Miss FreeOnes 2010 title. She is also nominated for Best Newcomer at the AEBN VOD Awards. Finally, is also hoping fans will vote for her in the XFANZ People’s Choice Awards, for which voting started last week.
