The website TheDirty posted images it claims are of Weiner’s genitalia, and defends its decision to do so by claiming they are proving why Weiner should not be involved in American politics.

The site writes in the article with the images:

“There comes a time for people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with self-absorbed, perverted politicians. New York City, now is that time! As the flagship city of the United States, you must use this as an opportunity to tell the world that dirty politicians like Anthony Weiner don’t deserve to represent you.

“Today is the first time in our company history that TheDirty.com has published extreme nude images without censor because New York deserves better leadership than this.

“Let your voices be heard and demand that Anthony Weiner aka Carlos Danger withdraws immediately from the mayoral race. Now is your time, your opportunity to positively shift the focus of the mainstream media and the culture of politics in the United States.”

Zap2it will not link to the actual images because they are extremely graphic in nature and, as previously mentioned, are uncensored. However, they can be found on TheDirty for those interested.

It was TheDirty that was behind the recent reveal that Weiner went under the alias Carlos Danger when meeting a 22-year-old woman on Formspring in July 2012, which for those of you keeping track of this timeline was after he resigned from Congress. It seems TheDirty opted to reveal these photos now because Weiner is running for the office of mayor of New York City.

During a recent press conference, Weiner says he and his wife are working on their marriage, “I’m glad these things are behind us,” he says. His wife, Huma Abedin, also spoke, saying, “It took a lot of work and a whole lot of therapy to get to a place where I could forgive Anthony. It was not an easy choice in any way, but I made the decision that it was worth staying in this marriage.”
