Knox who is repped by World Modeling had a few comments to make about Breeanna Noel www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=10593 and her assessment of him. Noel wasn’t very flattering to say the least. Knox has been in the industry about eight months and had been corresponding online with Brandon Iron before moving here from Berkeley last November.
“Watching too much porn in my free time made me want to get into the industry.” Knox laughs. The first person Knox worked for was Chico Wang at Diabolic. “He game me a shot.” I suggest that Wang being as crazy as he is would have taken the edge off for Knox. Knox says his scene was with Keri Sable. “She’s really beautiful; of course this was before she became a Vivid girl,” says Knox. “I didn’t have any interaction with the girl. It was a pop scene for me- a bunch of guys standing around. Brian Surewood was in the scene- all these guys that I look up to. I was really nervous the whole time, like, oh man, if I don’t do well I’m never going to make it. I totally bombed and I’m not afraid to say it. It was rough but I did it more, more and more and got into it. I figured out how it works and all that. I’m a lot better at it now. For the most part I was terrified I think. But I met some cool people. It was all good.”
Knox then got with World Modeling a couple of months in the industry. My buddies told me I should check that out. Then they [World Modeling] got me some work. It’s been going alright. I’ve done like 42 scenes in eight months. It’s kind of slow but I’m a new guy.” Knox has done mostly b.j. scenes and a handful of boy-girl scenes. Know says the scene he did with Noel was her first scene. “It was for College Wild Parties.com,” he says. “I think one of the reasons she was having such a hard time with it was because there was like 20 extras on the set drinking beer out of a keg like college kids being hecklers. It made her real uncomfortable. I think she might have been traumatized by that.”
Knox agrees with the assessment that Noel doesn’t seem to be too much into doing sex on camera. “She doesn’t seem like she is,” he says. “When I was talking to her, she said she only had sex maybe four or five times before she actually got into the industry. She wasn’t really interested in it and was doing it for now. Maybe she wants to make some easy money. I can’t imagine what her reasons for getting in the industry would be other than money. Because she’s not a very sexual person- in my opinion. I had experience working with her.”
I assume that this is the first time Knox’s hygiene habits have been critiqued for the world to see. “I’ve never had a girl complain about me like that before,” he says. “It kind of shook me out. I kind of felt compelled to speak in my own defense on that one. I felt that she was really being harsh in the way she put stuff. It wasn’t like that at all. Everyone else who was there would kind of agree that she’s like a real prudey, strange girl.”
Know says maybe he works three or four days out of the week. “I’m not like a contract guy but I do what I can- for sure.” For now Knox looks at this as a fun hobby. “But I take it seriously and stuff.” Knox will try to find supplemental work when he can but says it’s easier to get hired in porn than it is for him to find other things. Knox suggest that he might have a limited attention span which for a porn performer seems surprising. I ask Knox what he was doing in Berkeley. “Protesting?”
Knox laughs. “I was playing in a band with these two guys,” he answers. “They ended up moving out here as well. I moved out here with the band and they ended up kicking me out because I was spending too much time doing porn. They said I wasn’t pro-active enough with the band.” Knox says the name of the band is The Amateurs. “We moved out here and played a few gigs.”
Because he watched a lot of porn, I ask Knox if he got to work with any women he might have jerked off to. He immediately names Alana Evans. “I’m pretty stoked about that,” says Knox and presented a quick mental list that also includes Tianna Lynn, Kami Andrews, Railey Dean and Jasmine Byrne. “But Alana Evans is one of the first girls I ever jerked off to in porn, when I was 18. It’s kind of cool that she’s still around and that I got to work with her.” Knox said it was a little intimidating at first. “I got nervous because I felt she was a big shot- not like that- but she has a really cool attitude and is totally a cool person. I was nervous but she made me feel pretty comfortable. She’s really good and I had a great time with her.”
I ask Knox if he was getting sufficient action prior to getting into the business. “No,” he says. “I would say that I’ve been with more girls in porn than in my whole life. The girls in Berkeley are kind of snobby and pretentious and stuck up.” An assessment which I assume adds up to not getting laid with frequency. “There’s a lot of lesbians in the Bay area,” Knox adds. Which tightens up the possibilities even more. Knox says he was glad to get out.
“It’s nice in the Bay area,” he states. “The weather is great but money is so tight out there. Every penny you make you’re going to end up spending. At least out here I can enjoy myself.” Knox loves the porn business. “It’s a dream come true, for sure. I never thought I would get as much work as I’ve gotten now, just for the fact that I’m a new guy. It’s a total hustle for being a new guy but it pays off. I’m very stoked about it. I’ll do it for as long as I can.”
Knox has looked at every experience in porn as a good one for him. “Except when people talk smack about you for no reason. It’s like she said more spiteful things about me than she needed to. She could have said Ryan Knox smells and that’s it. She didn’t ask me to take a shower or nothing. I would have taken a shower. She was like a deer in the headlights the entire time. She looked like a pale ghost, really terrified of the whole experience.” In the same breath, Knox says Noel acted very cocky with him. “She’s not my favorite girl, whatever. Hopefully I’ll never run into her.”
