Fat Chance: “Lindsay Lohan Must Be “100 Percent Sober” to Stay in Porn Biopic”

Sometimes a producer’s got to know when a project’s snake bitten and it’s time to fold the tent. Hanley hasn’t realized that.

from www.eonline.com – Now that a bench warrant has been issued for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest, rumors are swirling about whether production will continue on her only current work project, Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno.

“The current analysis of how to proceed cannot be concluded until the court decision is known,” producer Chris Hanley [pictured] tells E! News, supporting Lindsay during this hard time.

However, should the show go on, you can bet there will be one thing added to her contract: a sobriety clause.

“Formally, the terms of the acting services agreement would be such that Lindsay would not violate any obligation she would have to fulfill with the court, with her probation, or with the production insurance,” Hanley tells us.

“Informally, as far as I am concerned that would include being 100 percent sober, yes.

“The actual contractual wording would be more legal to include making sure the movie production would not be compromised in any way.”

However, Chris notes than when he has been with L.L. professionally, she has been sober and he would expect her to remain that way during filming.

“I spent the whole time in Cannes and elsewhere with Lindsay, and she was sober when I was with her,” Hanley says.

However, the Inferno producer believes Lohan is “not simply a substance abuse casualty” and that she has more psychological issues to overcome.

As to whether Lohan is actually able to keep her role, that can’t possibly be decided at this time, but Hanley notes Lindsay “seems extremely committed” to the project.

The production schedule (obviously) keeps changing, but the team is casting the rest of the actors and pulling together department heads, confirms Inferno director Matthew Wilder.

“Every other part of the prep is going on regardless,” says Matthew. “It will work out one way or another.”

If Lohan does remain in the role however, Wilder agrees she will likely have to sign some sort of sobriety contract.

Says Matthew: “There will be some language that is intended to guard against stuff like this.”
