from www.sfweekly.com – The “Queen of Porn,” Jenna Jameson, will make her very first appearance in San Francisco, to help ring in Gold Club’s eighth anniversary on Thursday, August 2.

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. with a meet and greet, book signing of her autobiography, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale, and a photo opportunity (think how many Facebook “likes” that picture would get!) with the adult entertainer-turned-entrepreneur.

The event is $20 bucks, and includes free hors d’oeuvres, 2-for-1 lap dances, and some type of raffle thing where you can win an iPad or something. Because if Jenna Freakin’ Jameson isn’t enticing enough to get you to Gold Club, then surely the allure of a free Kindle is. Also, according to the press release, there will be “midnight guest appreciation surprises.” Whoa, you are going to surprise, and appreciate us? That’s the best thing I’ve heard since Gold Club started doing $5 lunch buffets/strip shows!

Gold Club was voted “Best Strip Club” in this year’s Reader Poll by the greatest news outlet of all time, SF Weekly. And Jameson’s visit was voted “Best Thing To Happen To San Francisco Since Woody Allen Called It Charming” by me. She’s starred in 161 skin flicks, wrote a best-selling book, and started her own adult entertainment company, among other things in her long and prosperous career. She’s a busy bee. But honestly, I already knew that since she hasn’t found the time to respond to any of my 161 emails.
