Porn Valley- Matt “the Lord” Zane was a guest of The Wanker Show on KSEX, www.ksexradio.com Wednesday evening. Along with Zane was rock promoter Jon Finberg, Finberg noting that he had been in a cab accident in Thailand. “It was horrible; I spent four days in the hospital,” Finberg said, noting that the hospitals over there were clean and gorgeous but couldn’t figure out why they cut his clothes off in the middle of the street.
Zane reported that the suspension show which was held at The Key Club in March is almost finished on DVD. So far Zane said he wasn’t happy with the rough edit. “I wouldn’t be a real artist if I was.” Zane said the camera crew, thanks to some drink courtesy of Wankus and others, held camera with a firm hand left to be desired. “I could have given five monkeys five cameras and probably gotten the same exact footage I got from these guys. It was a freakin’ joke.” Wankus noted that Zane, despite that, was getting a lot of press from the event.
Zane said he was in the middle of a tour with Orgy that was visiting seven countries, seven states, 6,000 miles, 12 broken mike stands, two near arrests, 1 fight and a couple of assorted sexual occurrences.
Zane, who was in something of a car wreck of his own, was asked about a sexual beef that stemmed from a concert in Denver several days ago. According to the story Wankus said a girl was heckling Zane.
“She was being a real cunt,” Zane pointed out. According to Wankus, Zane stopped the show and said, ‘Alright you got something to say, say it right here.’ With Zane and his band apparently mocking her out, Zane then put her head in his crotch. “It turned out she was 17.”
Zane said the girl wanted to press charges for sexual assault and that was basically the gist of the story, that it was, simply, a heckling girl. “I don’t care if you’re going to heckle me, just get ready for what’s going to happen.” According to Zane, some people would have paid for her experience but she, apparently, didn’t find it very amusing.
“Basically the cops told me we’re here because of what happened in Milwaukee. We’ve been told about your show. We saw what happened. We felt that it was in the context of the show. We felt that it didn’t hurt anybody; it wasn’t humiliating to her. But she is 17 and decided to press charges. We’re going to have to take you in.” According to Zane the cops were going to allow the girl to cool down, watch the rest of the show. “If she relaxes after that maybe she won’t press charges. You go off and do your thing. We’re going to come get you at the end.”
Zane said he wasn’t waiting for no cops and took off. “I get dressed. I hopped in the vehicle and that was it. I was out of there.” Zane said the incident was two days ago and hasn’t heard from the cops, so far. Zane said he didn’t want a repeat of the Milwaukee incident where, a week earlier, he dropped his pants during a show.
“The cops came. They didn’t catch me, thankfully. I got out of there.” Zane said because of those incidents he had been kicked off the Orgy tour but was re-instated when he agreed to keep his act as clean as possible. “They weren’t used to the level of entertainment and occasional violence that happens to come up during my shows.”
Zane said the evening before at Tempe, Arizona, he had blood drawn. “This girl was heckling me and I wasn’t allowed to do anything. So I was in the front row slapping some hands. You sweat a lot when you play so I put my hand down my pants really rubbing my crotch good, looking at her sticking my tongue out. She looked at me disgusted, flipping me off. I took my hand out and just rubbed it on her face. And that’s when she got me with those nails. She drew blood.”
Otherwise, Zane said they’ve been playing to packed houses and the shows, by and large, have been great if you discount the couple of fist fights that he got into. “But nobody seemed to mind then at that point in time. People thought it was part of the show. They were being just assholes. They deserved it.”
