New York- JAILED escort agency kingpin Jason Itzler, pictured, says one of his best clients was Counting Crows rocker Adam Duritz.
Speaking from Rikers Island, where he’s doing time on prostitution, drug and money-laundering charges, Itzler told PAGE SIX: “He used to hire four or five girls at a time and spend $10,000 or $20,000 a throw. I’m only revealing his name ’cause I don’t think it’s gonna hurt his career.
“I find this hard to believe,” Duritz’s rep told us. “He’s a rock star, for God’s sake. He gets some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.”
His manager’s office also called Itzler’s tale nonsense. Duritz may be a bit lacking in the looks department, but he’s dated the likes of Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Monica Potter.
Itzler says his client roster at his NY Confidential escort agency, which raked in $500,000 a month during the year-and-a-half he was in business, included senators, mayors, mobsters, top cops and money men.
One hedge-fund star used to prop his tax return, showing he’d made $48 million, on the pillow next to a hooker’s head during steamy sex sessions, Itzler claims. The greediest client, however, was a Hollywood bigwig who once ordered up 11 girls for 12 hours, at a cost of $42,000.
Itzler says he does not plan to reveal the names of any other clients, but notes that those who used credit cards might be nailed by the paper trail.
Itzler, 38, who insists he’s innocent of pimping charges, has said he plans to marry his (and, he claims, the world’s) top escort, Natalia McClennan, 23, on Rikers next month. Itzler says McClennan makes $1.5 million a year as an escort.
He also says the BBC will air a reality series on his agency and downfall using footage from digital recorders that were always running at his lavish Worth Street premises.
In March, Itzler offered to make Paris Hilton a superstar escort, saying she could make $52 million a year with his guidance.
Before he started NY Confidential, Itzler, once known as the Internet sex king of Miami, tried to open a modeling agency. He was already on parole in New Jersey for a 2001 ecstasy-smuggling rap when his escort agency was busted.
