Police: Teens Robbed Chocolate Fantasy Girls Escort Service

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. – from www.myfoxatlanta.com – Coweta County authorities have charged three teens with robbing women from an Atlanta escort service. They say two teen girls and a 19-year-old man have been charged in connection to the robberies.

Investigators say it was the idea of Stephanie Joy McAlkich, 17, to lure Atlanta escort service women to a rural Coweta County road and rob them at gunpoint. They say she got the idea after buying a pornographic magazine at a Coweta County adult bookstore and seeing the escort service advertisements in the back.

“They started calling some of the escort services and were able to get an individual to come down to Coweta County,” said Major James Yarborough of the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say an escort from Chocolate Fantasy Girls drove down to George Coggin Road in the northeast section of Coweta County. They say 16-year old Nicole Ann Jackson was in on the plan. She is being charged as an adult in Superior Court.

According to investigators, 19-year-old Jonathan Albert Berggren’s role was to rob the escort.

Investigators say the three teens had lured the woman to a driveway on George Coggin Road that belonged to one of their neighbors. They say Berggren hid behind bushes at the end of the driveway and surprised the woman as she talked with the teenage girls.

Investigators say McAlkich’s plan worked so well once, the three decided to try it again. But the next escort to arrive on George Coggin Road was carrying a gun, and during the robbery shot Berggren in the stomach.

Maj. Yarborough says it’s possible that word had gotten back to the other escorts in the same business, and that the new victim was prepared for what might happen. He said in the case of the second victim, it looks like the shooting was a case of self defense.

Update: COWETA COUNTY, Ga. – www.myfoxatlanta.com – New charges have been filed against three Coweta County teens accused of robbing a woman from an Atlanta escort service. A second woman has come forward to police and confessed that she shot one of the teens in self defense during what would have been their second hold up. She shared her frightening story with FOX 5.

The second victim, who does not wish to be identified, says she works part-time in the adult entertainment industry as a dancer at private parties. With her mother at her side on Friday morning, she said she is turning her life around after what she has told investigators was a harrowing armed robbery by three Coweta County teenagers.

“Before I could open the door, he swung the door open and he put the gun to my head,” the woman told FOX 5’s Doug Evans.

She talked with Coweta County investigators on Friday morning, and admits that she shot 19-year-old Jonathon Berggren earlier this month when he and two teenage girls tried to rob her. It happened after she arrived at what she thought was a bachelor party, where she was to dance.

She came forward after an earlier story this week on the charges against Berggren, 16-year-old Nicole Jackson and 17-year-old Stephanie McAlkich. Investigators say they robbed a woman who works for the Atlanta escort service Chocolate Fantasy Girls. That woman was the first victim.

This woman, investigators say, was the second victim called to that address, which is actually a neighbor’s driveway.

“My mind frame was to give him the money,” the second victim said. “The fact that I had a gun to my head didn’t cross my mind. Just give him what you have.”

But instead she pulled her own gun and fired at Berggren.

“And he aimed at my face with his gun,” she explained. “And when he aimed at my face, he shot again. And I shot again. And then he took off running.”

Berggren was hit in the stomach and was forced to call an ambulance. The woman’s gun is a 9mm semi-automatic, and she does have a concealed weapons permit. Investigators confirm she is licensed to carry the gun.

Major James Yarborough said investigators now have two cases that will be turned into the district attorney.

The second victim, a single mother of two, told FOX 5 the incident has changed her mind about what she does. She says she’s a full-time student and has a job, and was only dancing to make extra cash.
