Porn History 101: Probably the Most Provocative Book about The Adult Video Industry You’ve Never Read: Skinflicks by David Jennings

Is it the best book about porn? Maybe not, because I haven’t finished mine.

So is David Jennings’ “Skinflicks” [published in 2000] at least the most provocative? Well it certainly provoked Bill Margold, described by Jennings in the book as the porn industry’s “Renaissance Man”.

I asked Lorenzo De Medici if he had ever heard of Jennings. [Out of respect and bowing to a higher authority, I always defer to Margold on matters of porn history. After all, he is to porn what palm trees are to the Old Testament.]
