Prostitution charge against PT’s strip club operator dropped

Denver – from www.denverpost.com – A prostitution charge against a Golden man who operates a string of strip clubs has been dismissed.

Troy Lowrie, who operates PT’s Showclub in southwest Denver, among other clubs, was charged with furthering the act of prostitution, but the charge was dismissed this morning in a Denver court.

“It was our position he should never have been arrested and he committed no crime,” said Harvey Steinberg, Lowrie’s attorney.

Lowrie was arrested in July after he allegedly approaching a female undercover Denver police officer who was working a prostitution sting on West Colfax Avenue.

Lowrie worked as the boy’s tennis coach at Golden High School. He lost the position after the arrest.

“He wants to be reinstated as the tennis coach,” Steinberg said. “He should be, he never did anything wrong.”
