Should Have Done Boy/Girl Long Time Ago…

Porn Valley- In a recent interview with Roger T. Pipe, Janine, 37, confirms that she left Vivid to go over to Digital Playground.

“It was sad day and it was a happy day at the same time,” Janine explains. “I have been with Vivid since 1993 and I thought that I was going to die a Vivid Girl. It just came to the point where we couldn’t agree on the next contract.” According to Janine, the parting was amicable and on good terms but explains that she made the move to see what else was out there. She said Steve Hirsch was cool with that.

Janine had worked with Digital Playground on Virtual Sex DVD a few years back and that was one of the reasons why she wanted to go with them. Asked why she made the switch do doing boy-girl after so many years, Janine said she was ready to have some fun.

“This time around I was ready for something different,” she states. “I am at a different point in my life and the thought of boy/girl agreed with me. I knew that the majority of the people watching my movies wanted something else and it was due time. I didn’t feel like I had to, it just felt right, like something I could do with all my heart.” It was also noted that her first boy-girl scene was set to shoot right in the middle of the HIV outbreak.

“I was on set with TT Boy and right in the middle of the afternoon, they shut down production,” she continues. “We had to put it off. Luckily we were able to re-cast and shoot it later.” Subsequently Janine did her scene with Nick Manning.

“It was a little scary,” Janine says of her first time working with a guy. “They were afraid that I would get spooked and change my mind. I understand in this business that there is a risk. Each of take that risk and it’s part of it. It is up to us to handle it as best we can and we did.”

Asked if she plans to continue with boy/girl at Digital Playground, Janine said she’s hooked on the idea. “I should have done boy/girl a long time ago,” she says. The guys are great and I have had no complaints. I’m having some of the best sex I’ve had in my life. I am a very happy girl right now.”

According to Janine, who did maybe eight boy/girl movies all told for Vivid of which one has been released so far, she might have done boy/girl a lot sooner if not for all the fuss. “It kind of spooked me a little,” she states. “Once I had done only girls for so many years it almost felt like I couldn’t switch to boys. I don’t know. I’m just glad that I have started doing them now.”

Janine reports that one of her Vivid boy/girl movies has been released so far, that being, “Man-eater.” She believes that “The Villa” is due out any day now.

Asked if she might do another Virtual Sex DVD, this time with a guy, Janine says that is her hope, noting that when she started with Vivid in 1993, her demands to work girl-only was pretty much take it or leave it.

“It was never up for negotiation,” she says. “I wasn’t trying to be a hard-ass, but I was clear that I didn’t want people trying to persuade me into something I wasn’t ready to do. They always knew that when I was ready I would come to them and that is exactly what I did.”

To date, a threeway that she did with Mr. Marcus and Sean Michaels stands out in her mind as the most memorable. [She’s not sure what movie it appears in.]

“It was a scene that caught me off guard,” she explains. “Sean showed up late that day and we were all nervous that he might not show up. There was some miscommunication and he didn’t realize that they had set him up to work with me. Finally we all showed up and the scene just happened really quickly at around ten-thirty in the morning. I didn’t have a chance to brace myself or get my thoughts together and they just rocked my world. It was fantastic. It was a fantasy that I had thought about since my teenage years and it was a scene that I really wanted.”

It was also unusual in the fact that a Vivid girl is doing an interracial scene. When this is pointed out to her, Janine is surprised. “I wish I could have experienced porn in the 70’s when it was just about fucking and feeling good with different people,” she says.

Asked if she would like to shoot more interracial scenes at Digital Playground, Janine says she has no problem with it.

“I don’t care if the guy is green as long as he gets me off. I don’t go looking for interracial just to shock people, but if I find someone who floats my boat and is very passionate, that is who I want to work with.”

Janine goes on to state that she was married in her private life but always had a fondness for females. However her reasons for working only with women were more out of respect to her husband at the time.

“I started exploring with women when I was like twelve or thirteen. I have always been interested in women,” she also says. But, according to Janine, she never brought other women home.

“We never had that in our home life,” she says. “We were very normal. We made a beautiful son together who is thirteen now. That marriage fizzled after ten years and I have had boyfriends since then. I got married and divorced again since then. My personal life and my porno life have always been two very different things.”
