Porn Valley- I spoke to attorney Carlo Spiga Wednesday afternoon. Spiga successfully defended Skeeter Kerkove recently against allegations made by Bridgette Kerkove in family court.

There’s a gag order in place on the proceedings so there’s a lot of things that Spiga can’t say.

“From out standpoint as far as the DCFS [Department of Children and Family Services] and the actions that occurred there, all that’s confidential- unfortunately,” says Spiga. “I can say that whatever allegations Bridgette has been making, have not been sustained in any court in the land.”

Spiga explains that this is a children & family court and because it involves kids, everything, by definition is confidential.

“So I’m kind of constrained as to what I can say,” admits Spiga. “But I feel that I can say that the allegations Bridgette has been making against Skeeter are well known. And she’s had the chance to sustain them but she hasn’t been able to. You’re well aware of the lie detector test and all that- there is no evidence at all that Skeeter did anything to any of his children. Skeeter was never convicted of child molestation- that’s the other thing. Bottom line, she’s been trying to ruin him and came up with these allegations- and she’s still trying to do it, by the way.

“It’s not like she’s done,” Spiga continues. “She knows just by her saying something, just by making an allegation everybody gets scared of Skeeter. She knows very well what she’s doing and keeps doing it.

“I think people in the porn industry should be very careful about how they handle Skeeter,” Spiga goes on to say. “I’ll tell you right now. Bridgette Kerkove’s the model of how you can bring down any man in the industry. Any woman that has an axe to grind against any man in the industry can just do what Bridgette Kerkove has done. She doesn’t have to prove anything. She can simply make the allegation. Look, Skeeter basically lost all employment and became a leper in the community just because she made the allegation. So these people in the adult community that are so scared, they’re setting a precedent that will one day come around and touch them, I guarantee you- once this example’s been set.Bridgette isn’t the first to come up with this idea.”

Since the court decision, Bridgette Kerkove has continued to make allegations against Skeeter. I ask Spiga what credibility is attached to these, particularly in the light of the fact that Skeeter’s visitations are monitored and supervised.

“That’s true,” Spiga concedes. “But all she can really do is resurrect the old allegations. They have been dismissed, but that doesn’t stop her from trying.”
