HAMILTON, Ontario — A Hamilton variety store owner is facing charges after an eight-year-old boy unwittingly viewed a porn movie.

Police say his mother rented a copy of the video Shark Tale.

But when the movie ended, the porn began, and the mother walked in to see her son viewing the adult material.

Police believe someone made a copy of Shark Tale by taping over an adult movie.

Officers have seized more than 17 thousand dollars worth of videos from the store.

They believe 390 tapes, which include many titles, were illegally copied or pirated.

The 46-year-old owner of Perk’s Variety in Hamilton is charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
