Study: Men Less Likely to Wear Condoms Because of the Way They Fit

Boston – from www.dbtechno.com- Results of a new study find that men are less likely to wear condoms during sex because of the way they fit.

According to the study, men fear that condoms will break during intercourse, a key reason for not wanting to wear them.

Also, if condoms do not fit properly, sensation is lost which is another major turn off when it comes to the method of contraception.

Researchers from the US analyzed questionnaires from 436 men between the ages of 18 and 67.

44% of men said that they had engaged in intercourse over the last 3 months in which the condom they wore did not fit right.

These men reported difficulty maintaining an erection, and difficulty reaching orgasm because of their ill-fitting condoms.

The study can be found in the journal Sexually Transmitted Infections.
