Here’s a conundrum wrapped inside an enigmatic riddle. In the Showtime reality series about the making of the Vivid project Deeper Throat, one would expect nudity. Or maybe you wouldn’t have expected it, but that’s what you get- both of the male and female variety. And plenty of it.
Loads of sex scenes are also portrayed. There’s no hardcore penetration, of course, but still… And, at the end of each episode, there’s flashed on screen a 2257 compliance notice.
Maybe no one’s bothered to ask this question before, but having been on adult sets where 2257s were required of anyone appearing on camera- even if not in a sexual capacity- it seems very strange and very odd, almost creepy that Steve Hirsch’s kids appear in this series with speaking parts.
Not occupying the same rooms as the naked people, obviously, nonetheless they’re still in this series. Both the children are way under 18, so what’s the ruling on this? And don’t give me some crap about this being intrinsic to the storyline. If adult is so paranoid about records-keeping to void anyway under 18 being in a production, this kind of thing really gives ammo to the anti-porn nut faction out there.
