Porn Valley- In October it sounded like a bunch of talk, but now Rob Spallone’s made it happen by opening the doors to his new modeling agency. No name as yet, but it’s swank. Spallone this morning was wondering if he went overboard by buying eight computers, but outside of some of the extravagance, Spallone’s ready to do business out of a building on Canoga just across from where The Studio used to be. There’s a meeting tomorrow with another agency. Maybe they’ll come in with him, maybe they won’t. And Spallone’s also wondering if he should lease out the downstairs, which is basically a receptionist area, since he doesn’t think he’ll be using it.
In the upstairs lounge, Spallone’s got a big screen TV and ample room to park asses.
“This’ll be great for Monday Night football,” he says, noting that he just wanted to have “a nice comfortable hangout” where people could come to relax and feel at home. Yeah, and he’s still shooting movies. Spallone will have 54 done by the end of the year. He’s trying to get some girls booked in the last weeks of December and is told a lot of them are working. Spallone predicts that they may be booked, but they’re not going to be paid until after AVN.
“I know how that works,” he says. Meanwhile he’s got a shoot going a couple of miles away. Male performer Tone Capone asks still photog Bill Diehl to leave the set. Diehl says this is only the 3rd time in 11 years that someone’s requested that but it’s never been a woman. Marty Romano remembers a time he threatened to stab a guy in the neck on a set when he was making cracks because Romano had trouble getting wood. Romano doesn’t take Viagra.
“I could fuck a girl on the 50 yard-line at the Super Bowl,” says Romano. “But I don’t do D.P.’s- not with those guys taking drugs. They make me look bad.” Romano says maybe he works three times a month now.
“I do it as a hobby.”
