TARZANA, CA – The mother of adult reporter Tod Hunter died Sunday at her Tarzana home where she had lived for over 40 years. Her name is being withheld to maintain the privacy of other members of Hunter’s family. She was 75.
She had been plagued with lung problems for almost a year. “She just started getting worse during the summer,” Hunter said. “She stayed at my sister’s house in Arizona for a few weeks this fall – she thought the heat and dry climate would do her good, and so did we. She seemed better, especially when she got back to L.A., but she took a turn for the worse when the wildfires threw so much smoke and soot in the air, and then she caught a cold and just couldn’t shake it.”
She is survived by three sons, including Hunter, a daughter, and five grandchildren. She was divorced from Hunter’s father in the early 1970s. Private services are planned for the family.
Expressions of condolence can be sent to Hunter at his mailing address, P.O. Box 570042, Tarzana CA 91357-0042, or his e-mail at [email protected].
