(SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA) — In a pre-show conversation Wednesday night between KSEXradio’s Wankus and show guest, Gen Padova, the popular internet radio Program Director and Host faced some criticism over his behavior in the industry.
“You’re all over the trades right now, doing horrible things,” said Padova, “I thought I had a good idea of who you were the last time we did a show together, but obviously I was wrong.” Wankus, baffled, responded, “what the hell are you talking about? I haven’t done anything wrong since 7th grade!” To which Padova asked, “don’t you have that company MeatPuppets.com?” It all fell into place at that point and Wankus knew he was in the clear as he sighed, “ohhhhhhhh you’re thinking of Wanker Wang….oh my god that’s funny, no no no, that’s not me.”
On Gene Ross’ web site today, he recapped the on-air conversation on the subject:
The popular and voluble Gen Padova returned to The Wanker Show last night on KSEXradio.com. Padova came armed with sex toys and thoughts about webmasters, Lee Stone and newswoman Ashleigh Banfield. Wankus, tongue planted firmly in cheek, demanded an immediate apology from Padova. “You accused me of being Wanker Wang!” It was an accident, according to Padova.” People [in the business] go by multiple names sometimes.” Wankus related how Padova walked into the studio Wednesday night armed with attitude thinking that Wankus was Wang. “She was mad at me for being such an asshole to the industry,” Wang, er, Wankus told his listeners.
“She goes, ‘aren’t you the guy that’s on all those sites getting blasted’,” Wankus explained. “Aren’t you Wanker Wang on meatpuppets.com? Or meatcunts whatever the fuck it is.” Wankus said while he’s hung like an Asian man, he’s not an Asian man.
Wankus, who has used the name since his broadcast radio career in Los Angeles morning radio back in 1995, also can be seen as such, in the credits of the Fox TV Show “Transformers” he starred in as the police car, Prowl. The name came while on-air on B-100 [KIBB], Los Angeles, as his on air partner tried to call him a Wanker and a Dufis at the same time. She screamed, “you’re a Wankus!” The name seemed very appropriate and he stuck with it through every project, aside from when he coaches little league.
Again, to be clear. WANKUS of KSEXradio.com IS NOT Wanker Wang, has no affiliation with Wanker Wang and/or any Wanker Wang projects.
