LINCOLN, Neb. — from www.ketv.com – A Nebraska woman faces charges after she bares it all at a Lincoln Catholic high school.

When Valerie Dodds graduated Lincoln East High School, after transferring from St. Pius X High School during her senior year, she took a different path.

“It looked like something that I just kind of wanted to try, I guess,” Dodds said.

For fun, the 19-year-old started a nude photo business several months ago, but said her classmates did not like it.

“That’s when all of the Pius kids were saying mean things and that’s when I decided to go there and show them that I’m here to stay,” she said.

Dodds said she got back at them by flashing a little more than expected at a camera.

She bared it all on school grounds late at night on Mother’s Day. Days ago, she received a ticket, citing her for trespassing and public nudity.

“Why would you give me a ticket for public nudity if I’m trespassing onto private property?” Dodd said.

A budding porn star sneaked onto the Lincoln Pius X campus one night last month to pose naked on the school’s football field, her leg hanging in front of the school’s motto — “Restore All Things in Christ” — and with a crucifix dangling.

Valerie Dodds, 19, went back to her alma mater this week — this time in broad daylight — and Lincoln police busted her for trespassing and public nudity for the May 13 stunt, but not for baring (nearly) everything again Tuesday while standing in front of the high school.

Dodds didn’t break the law Tuesday, Capt. Danny Reitan said. She skirted the spirit of the law by covering her nipples with pasties and wearing panties, something she didn’t do between midnight and 1:30 a.m. May 13.

She used multiple exclamation points to brag about it on her Facebook profile.

“So you definitely heard right I did get arrested for the Pius XXX picture set on my website!”

Dodds and Pius X principal Tom Korta did not respond to interview requests.

City leaders in 1996 passed an ordinance outlawing public nudity. In doing so, they wanted to “prohibit the exploitation of human nudity for the purpose of advertising, selling, or otherwise promoting the economic interests of any type of business enterprise,” according to Lincoln’s municipal code.

The actual ordinance, however, forbids women from showing their nipples or areolas, not their breasts generally, something Dodds took advantage of Tuesday.

But Dodds didn’t use the pasties in mid-May.

Afterward, she posted the photos of her flashing her breasts outside Aldrich Field, lying naked on the turf and sitting naked on a concrete bench.

The late night photo shoot was revenge for the students, alumni and teachers who gave Dodds flak when she told them she was starting a porn career, she said on her site.

To launch her website, Dodds teamed up with Melissa and Shane Harrington, who captured fame a decade ago when they started a porn site after getting married.

The site featured pornographic pictures of Melissa at bars and other sites around Lincoln.

As the site grew in popularity, so did the scrutiny from law enforcement. Melissa, known by stage names Melissa Midwest and Melissa Lincoln, was found guilty in 2004 of public nudity after an image on the website appeared to show her topless at a local bar.

Melissa Harrington was again found guilty of public nudity in 2006, but she said she satisfied the city ordinance by covering her nipple with pink paint.

If her website is any indication, Dodds doesn’t plan to stop baring (nearly) everything in the tradition of Melissa Harrington.

Said Dodds, “I am sure this won’t be the last you hear about this!”
