XXX Wasteland Interviews Kaylee Hilton

Adam Wilcox post on www.xxxwasteland.wordpress.com – Kaylee Hilton has become one of the most popular relative new starlets on the adult landscape since her debut less than a year ago.

Kaylee’s likable personality, enthusiastic on-camera performances and trademark metal orthodontic braces have scored the young blonde performer a huge fan base and earned her a substantial amount of high-profile work, including a role in director Will Ryder’s recently-wrapped Not The Beverly Hillbillies XXX feature film from X-Play.

Kaylee kindly spoke with XXX Wasteland to discuss her part in the Beverly Hillbillies takeoff, the effect working with visible braces has had on her career and more.

You can visit Kaylee online at her official website (currently under construction), KayleeHilton.com, follow her on Twitter under the handle @KayleeHilton and find her on Facebook here.

Q: I understand you just finished shooting for the upcoming Beverly Hillbillies parody from X-Play. Can you tell us a little bit about that?

It was starring Kagney Linn Karter and it was actually a pretty good setup. Everyone’s going to like it a lot because the characters are like spot-on. The granny that is in it, she’s a mainstream actress, so she was really good. I just did the part of a girl that’s auditioning for a part there because in the movie they decide that they want to make a casting agency. Me and another girl hook up with Mr. Drysdale thinking that he is in charge.

The whole thing is about them making a casting agency. It’s pretty cool, they were pretty spot-on with all of it. It’s going to be really good.

Q: And it is going to be released next month, is that right?

Yeah, they’re going to push it out next month, which is crazy-fast for them. They want to get it up for AVN (awards).

Q: Can you give us a little bit of background on how you entered the adult industry?

I started out as a stripper and I did that for like three years. I ran into this girl who used to do porn. I’m from Kansas and it’s not really an option out there. It’s not like California where people think about it.

She’s like, “I did porn. You should do it; you could make a lot of money.” So, I was like, “Okay.” I got some pictures done and I sent them out to Foxxx Modeling in California. They arranged a time to come out and I started coming out.

I’ve always been interested in porn; it’s always been something that I’ve really liked.

Q: And you have been in the industry for just under a year, is that right?

Yeah – I guess it would be up to eight months. I keep thinking six months, but it’s just under a year now.

Q: You have done quite a bit in that period of time and established a good name for yourself.

Thanks. Yeah, I’ve done a lot of stuff. (Laughs) I’ve almost done everything.

Have you enjoyed being a part of the adult business thus far?

I love it. It’s such a great lifestyle and I’ve gotten to meet a lot of cool people. I love dressing up and I like sex, so it’s fun. I really like it a lot.

Q: Do you have any specific goals in mind that you wish to accomplish during your time in the industry or a visual of where you see yourself in ten years?

I really hope to get another good couple of years out of the industry, but with so many girls nowadays you really have to put out good scenes. I’m pretty realistic in the fact that I want to stay in for another couple of years and then I think I want to go back to school and be a nurse. I want to do porn for as long as I can and after that I’ll just go back to school.

Q: Who are some of your favorite performers and studios to work with?

Gosh … I like everybody. (Laughs) I have a lot of favorites. I pretty much like everybody that I work with. I don’t even really have a “No” list because I get along with everybody so well.

I have one scene that sticks out; it was like a boy/girl/girl. Alexa Cruz was really fun to work with, a really nice girl. That was for Evil Angel. And, of course, Mike Adriano is wonderful. So, I really like that company a lot.

I’ve almost become friends with everybody I’ve worked with. I’ve worked with a lot of different people.

Q: You are unique from most other performers in that you shoot scenes wearing visible orthodontic braces. I heard you discussing it on Inside the Industry the other night and your braces seem to have become a trademark of sorts for you.

It kind of is my trademark. It’s really funny because I actually didn’t need braces until I was like eighteen. My wisdom teeth grew in and pushed a couple of my teeth forward. I was going to the orthodontist and I was like, “I kind of like those braces; let’s just do metal brackets.” And he was like, “Are you sure you don’t want clear or invisible?” I was like, “No, let’s do metal brackets.” So, he was like, “Okay.” I honestly thought it would be a downside for doing porn – keep me from doing a lot of things – but it actually helps a lot. It gets me so much work. I work for companies like Devil’s Film. I work for them all the time for their young girls stuff and they have a strict rule: No implants. But, they’re like, “She has braces, so it’s okay.” So, I got really, really lucky that I have braces because I get way more work.

I lost a couple of jobs because of my braces. I lost a Showtime show and a scene – it was like facial abuse – because the guy was scared to get cut up. I’ve never cut anyone, but it’s definitely my trademark: I’m the girl with the braces. (Laughs)

Q: You said on the show that there was actually a backlash from fans when you mentioned the possibility of having them removed.

There was totally a backlash! I was going to take them off for a Barbie movie that’s coming up; I’m playing Skipper in it. It’s another X-Play parody and they want my braces off. So, I was like, “Okay. I need to change the brackets on them, anyway, so I’ll just switch to Invisalign.” I wrote on my Facebook and Twitter, “Hey, guys, guess what? I’m getting my braces off.” And I had maybe two people say, “Cool – that’s great,” and maybe one person say, “Cool – I like you either way.” But everybody else was like, “If you take off your braces, I will delete you from my Facebook; if you take off your braces, I will not follow you on Twitter. I won’t watch any more of your stuff.” I was like, “Oh, my gosh!” There was a huge backlash. Everybody got really upset. So, I don’t know what I’m going to do. (Laughs)

Q:I just thought it was pretty interesting when I heard you say that.

It was very interesting, yeah. It’s really strange; I thought people would be like, “Yeah, cool – she gets to do the hot girl stuff.” But, I guess they like me as a young girl. So, I’m going to keep them on for the rest of the ten months that I have.

Q: Did you have any misconceptions about the adult business that you discovered were untrue after actually becoming a part of it?

Yeah, I had a ton. (Laughs) I honestly thought so many bad things about the industry before I got into it. I thought there was just rampant STDs and that you had to be afraid of every single guy and don’t do certain people, it’s dangerous … I realize that your agents pretty much take care of you really well. And STDs … (Laughs) I’ve heard of more people getting STDs outside of porn than inside of porn. It’s the weirdest thing. I knew more people that had STDs when I was underage than now when I’m in porn. So, that is a definite misconception that I had.

I also thought that every guy was going to have this monster dick and it was going to kill me, and I’ve been fortunate enough that I haven’t had to do any of the really big ones. (Laughs) Don’t get me wrong: My first boy/girl scene was an IR anal with Flash Brown an he’s eleven inches, but other than that everybody has been pretty average, so it’s been nice. I like that. It’s a good thing. (Laughs)

Q: You were raised in Kansas, is that right?

Yeah. I mean, I moved a lot. I was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and stayed there until I was like nine. Then I moved in with my aunt and uncle in Arizona until I was fifteen. Then I moved back to Wichita, Kansas, which is where I really consider my home because I did all my teen years there. I moved to Washington for a year and now I live in California, but Kansas is really my home. Basically, all my growing up took place there. Everything else I was too young or already grown up.

Q: What are some of your interests and hobbies outside of work?

Let’s see … I guess as everybody knows by now, I have a kid, so I spend a lot of my time with my kid. Actually, I spend almost all my time with my kid. I barely go out. Last night, I hosted a party. It was a fundraiser, so I went. But, other than that, you’ll never see me on the party scene.

I just like to hang out. I like to shop, I like to go to the beach, hanging out with my kid, and movies and stuff. I’m very, very vanilla outside of porn. That’s why I like porn so much: It gives me a chance to break out of my shell and be adventurous and crazy. Because in my personal life, I’m so vanilla.

Q: How about favorites – favorite movie, T.V. show, musicians, etc.?

Okay, I love scary movies. It’s my favorite, favorite, favorite thing. But, my favorite movie of all-time isn’t even a scary movie; my favorite movie is Heathers. I love that movie; it is so good. I like all the weird stuff like black comedies and scary movies.

Music, I really like alternative, rap and hip-hop. It’s kind of weird because those don’t really go together.

I love scary movies, though. I don’t know why. (Laughs)

I like the gory stuff. The gorier the better. I loved Hostel. I think that would be like the coolest porn parody if they could get away with it. But I know they did Saw, so you’d think that they would be able to do Hostile. But they’d definitely have to tone it down. I don’t think you’re allowed to actually kill people. (Laughs)

(Laughs) Are there any upcoming projects in the works that you would like to mention?

Well, the Barbie movie is still in the works right now. They’re taking their time on that; that might not even be out in time for AVN. They want it to be really good because they’re worried about some lawsuits or whatever. So, they don’t want it to be a waste. (Laughs) So, I’m working on that.

The Evil Angel DVD should be out soon: Anal Casting Calls. I’m working on a whole bunch of scenes right now; I’m always booked.

I do a lot of work for Kink now; I’m going out there next week to do a few scenes. I’ve got hog-tied, ultimate surrender, device bondage … I’m doing a lot of bondage right now, so people will see me in a lot of that stuff. I’m still doing the young girl, but right now my main thing is a lot of bondage. I don’t know why. I guess everybody goes through phases. With me, I’ll do anal for a while, then IR, then bondage. (Laughs)

I’ve got a lot of Internet work right now. For DVD work, I’m not sure what’s coming out yet. I never know when anything is coming out. I always check IAFD.com. That’s like the easiest way. (Laughs) But I always post stuff on my Twitter and Facebook when it comes out. So, if anyone wants to find out what I’m doing, I post a lot of behind-the-scenes pictures and stuff.

I’m still working on my website, but I’m waiting until I’m a year old to get it out because I want to put a lot of content on it. So, KayleeHilton.com will be out next year.

Q: To finish up, is there anything you wish to say to readers?

Thank you guys for reading and I really appreciate all my fans a lot. That is basically all I’d like to say to people because I’m one of the girls who actually likes her fans and talks to them, and I genuinely like the industry. I don’t just do it for money, so I’m glad everybody likes me enough to keep me around.

Thank you very much for your time. It was very nice speaking with you and I’m sure we will be hearing a lot more from you in the future.
