Larry Flynt Club Opens as Church Members Pray

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) – A controversial strip club is celebrating its grand opening Tuesday night after years in the making. Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club opened its doors after a long fight with opponents who don’t want it there.

The club says it will strive to be a good neighbor. And while it is crowded inside, opponents of the strip club gathered in prayer outside.

A vigil was held at the Faith Christian Assembly Church in Melvindale, just down the road from the club. Meanwhile, the Hustler Club’s general manager says they are excited about their opening night.
