The Ghost of Henri Pachard award goes to Zero Tolerance Entertainment.
In a presser this week it was reported that Zero Tolerance Entertainment is set to release the independent production Measure X that completed shooting Jan. 4 in Los Angeles. All proceeds from the distribution of the film will go towards funding the appeal of Measure B.
“We’re excited to put out this film so we can collect money to fight Measure B,” said Domenick Bongiorno, head of production at Zero Tolerance Entertainment.
Mike Quasar was quoted as saying, “We had an incredible amount of volunteer actors and crew members that donated their time to this production.”
This industry is known for coming up with great ideas that end up being nothing more than giant flaming piles of crap. I harken back to lessons learned back in 2008 when the industry ‘came together’ to shoot a video in which proceeds were to be earmarked for Henri Pachard’s medical bills during his unsuccessful fight with cancer. To date not one penny has been raised for THAT endeavor.

The Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend award goes to Gina Rodriguez and Octomom, Nadya Suleman.
As the story goes, Octomom failed to show up Wednesday at a courtroom in Delaware County, Pa. for a lawsuit hearing about a $7,500 diamond ring that she allegedly stole last summer while participating in a Celebrity Boxing tournament organized by the plaintiff, Damon Feldman.
The no-show by Octomom resulted in a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff, according to RadarOnline.com.
“I’m very happy to get the verdict. I hope she will be a really nice person and pay, or send the ring back. I don’t think she will, but the pressure is on her now,” Damon told the website. “The way she tried to screw me over was a joke, but I guess that’s what I get for dealing with people like that.”
Neither Suleman nor her manager, Gina Rodriguez, could be reached for comment, but Rodriguez told The Huffington Post when the suit was first filed that Feldman was fibbing.
“It’s a lie,” Rodriguez said in November.
Who knows if it’s a lie or not but somebody owes that cat $7,500.00.

The Michael Vick award goes to Boca Raton porn star, Shane Thompson.
Authorities said in October 2010, he beat to death his one-year-old dog named Moonshine. Moonshine was part wolf, part dog. Investigators said Thompson took the dog’s body to a veterinary clinic in Boca Raton to have the dog’s body cremated. But Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control got a tip that Moonshine had died as a result of abuse.
Before the cremation took place, they got the dog’s remains from the vet, did a necropsy and found Moonshine was beaten multiple times and had several fractures and bruises.
This jerk pled guilty to animal cruelty. Although the charge carries a maximum five years in prison, is puss got three months in the county jail. Who knows, maybe a little street justice is in order.
